Sr. Mechanical Engineer

We are working on behalf of a client seeking a highly skilled engineer for a senior role focused on mechanical design and development. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment. The senior mechanical engineer will be instrumental in advancing product designs, supporting manufacturing processes, and collaborating closely with customers from concept to delivery.

The role involves creating, reviewing, and refining mechanical drawings and 3D models used for fabrication, ensuring every detail meets industry and client standards. The candidate will oversee project timelines, coordinate across teams, and troubleshoot technical issues to keep projects on track. Leading design reviews and researching new technologies to enhance product offerings are essential responsibilities, as is maintaining strong communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction throughout every phase of the project.

Candidates should have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in machine design. The position requires proficiency with Inventor and AutoCAD for detailed modeling and drawing tasks. A background in sheet metal fabrication, project management, and resource planning is important. Effective communication skills, time management, and a results-driven mindset are crucial for success in this role.

Key requirements include :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of mechanical design experience
• Advanced skills in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Proven project management abilities, including managing budgets and resources
• Excellent communication skills for working with team members and clients
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel locally to customer facilities as needed

Preferred qualifications :

The position offers a competitive annual compensation package ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, along with comprehensive benefits such as retirement plans, medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, and paid time off.
