Trillium Staffing is one of the largest, fastest growing staffing companies in the country. We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Corporate HR team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This generalist position joins a team with an emphasis on administering employee benefits to multiple employee groups in all 50 states. Responsibilities include group insurance and retirement plan administration, onboarding / offboarding, participating in annual open enrollment functions, and answering employee questions in an approachable, professional, and confidential manner. Other duties include managing multi-state FMLA, LOA and ADA cases, participating in unemployment hearings, and legal research or policy writing to maintain compliance with multi-state regulations. Opportunities exist to develop acumen in multiple other HR practice areas.

This position is an in-seat position at our conveniently located corporate headquarters in Kalamazoo, Michigan. There is not a remote or hybrid option. Travel or after-hours work is extremely rare. Qualifications -Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related course of study strongly preferred. - SHRM-CP, GBA, or similar certification is a plus. -At least 2 years of Human Resources experience including practical knowledge of benefits admin, open enrollment, FMLA, leave laws, data bases, and / or 401(k) administration. Strong writing skills and analytical abilities are a plus. -Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR software.
