Job Summary

Responsible for working with the Tax Directors, VP of Tax, and other members of the White Cap Tax Department team in completion of income tax accounting and tax return preparation functions of the company as well as other Tax Department areas of responsibility. Oversee federal, state, and foreign income tax matters for all businesses.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Participates in preparation and review and ensures completion of ASC 740 calculations on a quarterly basis.
• Participates in federal, state, foreign income tax return and workpaper preparation and review.
• Prepares and reviews extensions and estimated payment calculations.
• Performs technical research on tax technical items and documents positions for review by the VP of Tax.
• Participates in certain M&A integration functions.
• Identifies and communicates income tax issues and solutions to complex, time-critical, or recurring business matters
• Manages, oversees and participates in special projects as assigned, including tax planning and developing new processes.
