This is an on-site position based in Pasadena, TX. You will need to be able to commute to their offices in the area daily.
This is a Senior Accounting position at an Accounting Manager / Controller. The company you will be working for is the trucking and logistics arm of a larger manufacturing business that creates household appliances usually used in the kitchen.
The company's focus is to keep the supply chain moving and to deliver on time for reasonable rates.
In this role, you will be responsible for the company's financial performance, compliance, and integrity. You will maintain records, prepare finance reports, and drive performance improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a financial leadership role. We would prefer someone with a background in logistics and supply chain or trucking.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be proficient with excel and other accounting software
- Must have a strong knowledge of accounting software
- Must have a data-driven mindset when it comes to finances.
- Must have project management skills and the ability to deliver results in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
