Overview

Instructor, Architectural Design and Construction Technology role at WSRE (Pensacola State College) – 9-month, tenure-track faculty position with anticipated start date August 2025. The successful candidate will teach courses in Architectural Design and Construction Technology as assigned and provide effective teaching and advising to a diverse student body. The role requires strong oral and written communication skills and alignment with the college mission.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Architectural Design and Construction Technology program as assigned.
• Prepare course plans and materials, deliver course content effectively, monitor student attendance and progress.
• Participate on departmental and College committees; contribute to curriculum development and retention efforts.
• Assist in selection of textbooks and assess student learning outcomes.
• Engage in service and professional development activities; encourage student participation in SkillsUSA and other appropriate organizations.
• May include day, evening, and distance learning assignments; report to the Department Head, Applied Technology and Professional Services.
