Service Technician

Job Summary :

Jim Norton Ford is currently seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled labor tasks related to automotive repair and maintenance.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair vehicles utilizing appropriate tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Identify and communicate any additional repairs or services needed to customers
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training and / or experience
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
