Job Summary
THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY! YOU MUST CHECK WITH FINANCIAL AID TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Campus Information and Chief Conduct Officer, the Student Affairs Videographer will support CIVS directly and the division indirectly by documenting through video training and events.
The Student Affairs Videographer will also assist with campus posting duties and fill in as needed at the Guard Station.
Responsibilities
1. Write, film, and produce promotional videos for the Ask Me program and the One-Stop-Shop.
2. Write, film, and produce training videos for CIVS and Student Affairs.
3. Write, film, and produce a promotional / recruiting video for student membership in the University Hearing Panel
4. Manage campus postings and train new student employees in this task.
5. Work in the Guard Station as needed
6. Other duties as assigned.
Wear issued uniform shirts, ties, scarves, and / or jackets appropriate for current weather and events. You are responsible for providing your own required footwear and pants / skirts.
Required Qualifications
1. Full-time student majoring in Film, communications, marketing other relevant field with a minimum GPA of 2.5
2. Ability to interact positively and professionally with students, faculty, and administrators
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Ability to evaluate information and make decisions based on a provided set of criteria
5. Effective time and workflow management skills
6. Must have experience writing, filming, and producing short videos.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Extensive knowledge of film editing software
