AR Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AR Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts receivable and will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient collection and management of outstanding accounts. This position offers opportunities for growth within the company into corporate finance or accounting roles.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and identify root causes of deductions and overdue invoices, collaborating with customers and internal teams to prevent future issues.
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for resolving outstanding receivables.
- Regularly analyze customer account statuses and provide updates to management as needed.
- Review order hold / release reports and take appropriate action to ensure timely processing.
- Generate weekly collection worklists and prepare ad hoc reports as requested.
- Track and manage daily incoming paymentsincluding checks, ACH, and wire transfersto support effective cash application.
- Recognize patterns and trends in receivables and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with sales and customer service leadership to maintain high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction in resolving account issues.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on collections and deduction resolution.High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in accounting or finance are a plus.Excellent communication skills and a strong track record of meeting deadlines.Hands-on experience with collections, invoicing, accounts payable / receivable, aging reports, and deduction management.Familiarity with SAP is preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is a fully on-site position with a business casual dress code. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
