Health Insurance Underwriter
We need are recruiting for individuals with experience in healthcare insurance, specifically in handling prescription benefits.
This is an in office role that is first shift during normal daytime hours, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Needed Skills :
- Previous health / Medicare / Prescription claims adjudication experience
- Experience with UB / Institutional and HCFA / Professional
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology, procedure, and diagnosis codes
- Can interpret EOB's.
- Must have 1 year of experience in medical insurance
- Medicare Supplement experience is strongly preferred
Duties :
- Make decision necessary to properly adjudicate claims and written inquiries
- Examine, investigate, research medical insurance claims
- Process claims
- Analyze claims to determine the extent of insurance carrier liability and interpret contract benefits
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $24.00 - $24.00
