Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join our Air Dominance Proprietary Program team to support development efforts in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional engineering teams in executing a comprehensive electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) program plan and meeting program commitments, including, but not limited to, the following tasks :
- Maintain alignment within the Boeing team and with the customer on E3 engineering; identify obstacles and work as a team to remove them
- Support management in maintaining cost, schedule and technical baselines for E3 effort. Identify trends and develop / implement contingency plans as necessary
- Coordinate active management of E3 related risks, issues and opportunities
- Support content development and provide quality review for E3 deliverables
- Collaborate with E3 technical lead to support program milestone reviews, develop necessary artifacts and presentation materials, and manage action items
- Collaborate with the program Integration & Certification team to plan, execute and document E3 related airworthiness and certification tasks
- Coordinate planning, execution and documentation of E3 test events with other engineering teams including airframe, subsystems, product security and mission systems
- Support identification, tracking and proactive management of E3 related metrics for both program execution and product performance
- Operate with integrity, build trust, and work as a team at all times
Onsite and Travel
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel : Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; domestically depending on business needs.
Security Clearances and Citizenship
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceExperience with one of the following E3 related tasks : EMI / EMC, cosite efforts, lightning protection design / verification, emissions / spectrum engineering, hazards of electromagnetic radiation (HERP / HERF), bonding and grounding designPlanning and execution of verification or certification test efforts (lab, ground and / or flight tests)Decomposition of Government or customer standards, development of certification or integrity plans, execution of verification / certification programsDevelopment of customer deliverables requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplinesPreferred Qualifications
Active Secret ClearanceEVM experience or experience developing and / or managing program baselinesAbility to develop briefing materials and present to senior functional and program leadershipBackground systems engineering processes such as RIO and TPM management, technical review planning / executionExperience developing metrics to track program executionLeadership of certification efforts with multiple internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to coordinate testing with internal and external stakeholders (test article design, lab coordination, data management)Typical Education & Experience
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
