Physical Requirements : Lift, push, pull, stand and walk with objects up to 50 pounds, sit at computer workstation for extended period of time, repetitive motion, occasion extreme temperatures, and able to walk across campus and climb stairs.
Shift : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM, and may need to work nights and weekends to meet departmental needs.
Job Summary :
The Associate Director for Housing Assignments leads the planning, execution, and oversight of all student housing assignment processes. This role ensures fair, consistent, and strategic occupancy planning and room placement through StarRez, the university's housing management system. The Associate Director collaborates with Student Success, including Enrollment Management and Disability Resource Center, and UK Athletics to align housing strategies with institutional priorities and student needs. This position supervises staff, manages policy application, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and university regulations related to residential housing.
