Dietary Aid

West Gardena Post Acute -

West Gardena is a rehabilitation center that is looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team! Our kitchen staff helps provide food from a variety of set menus to serve our residents in this 50 bed facility.

We are looking for a part time Dietary Aide.

· Dish washing/Storing dishes in proper location and ensure dishes are ready for the next meal

· Prepare nourishments

· Prepare beverages

· Complete daily cleaning assignment per cleaning schedule

· Assist with tray line

· Keep work area clean

· All other duties assigned by the Dietary Manager

· Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds

Qualifications

· Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

· Be able to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.

· Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.

· Must enjoy working with the elderly.

· Must be willing to work flexible shifts.

· Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

· Communicate effectively

· Clean and appropriately groomed
