Job descriptionLicensure : Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts. Experience : Minimum of 4 years of post-residency experience in urgent care, emergency care, or a similar setting. Certification : Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Skills : Proficient in urgent care procedures, patient-centered, and efficient in managing cases. Additional Certifications : Willingness to obtain certification for immigration physicals within 6 months of hire and to obtain DOT (Department of Transportation) certification, if not already certified. 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends as part of a collaborative team schedule. Overview
Our Client, an established urgent care center in Medford, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled and experienced Urgent Care Physician to join their team full-time.
Salary Range : $150-$175 per hour + BONUS ($175-$200 / hr OTE) + Benefits + Other Perks
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of urgent care cases, including minor illnesses, injuries, and other non-life-threatening conditions.
- Perform and supervise basic urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
- Maintain a patient load of 4+ patients per hour, providing efficient and thorough care.
- Supervise and collaborate with APCs under license, offering guidance and clinical oversight as needed.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Work 12-hour shifts, including a rotating weekend schedule, to meet the urgent care needs of the community.
