The Human Resources Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serve as a point of contact for employees under supervision. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in HR who is eager to gain hands-on experience in areas such as recruiting, employee relations, benefits, HRIS, and compliance. The intern will also assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with posting jobs, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and orientation.
- Help maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS system.
- Provide general support on employee relations issues, trainings, and HR communications.
- Assist in organizing and delivering internal HR-related trainings and employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in the administration of employee benefits and learn about compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the HR team on process improvement projects and policy updates
- Support performance management efforts, including data tracking and follow-ups
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related fieldStrong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn all functional areas of the departmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR systems is a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBilingual-SpanishBenefits
