Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing and managing multi-site, domestic and globally sourced Material Requirement Plans of ingredient and packaging components. MRP plans must balance operational costs, production constraints and order lead time to produce optimal solutions. Position is required to maintain system data elements, maintain inventory targets, and share responsibility to ensure key company objectives of customer service and on-time delivery are met. Position is responsible for supporting manufacturing attainment and adherence objectives by ensuring the right material, in the right place and in the right amount to support production plans. The position also supports assigned sites through advising operations, quality and logistics staff on plant and shop floor inventories. Requires the ability to influence, negotiate and otherwise manage the network of interconnected functions, resources and teams who procure, transport, store and use packaging and ingredient semi-finished good products.
