Job descriptionAnalyze project plans, specifications, and documents to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals. Source and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and competitiveness. Monitor and update project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle. Maintain a database of historical cost information for reference and benchmarking. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve project outcomes. Stay informed about market trends, material costs, and industry developments. A background in construction or a related field with a strong understanding of property and construction processes. Proficiency in estimating software and tools to create accurate cost projections. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. A detail-oriented mindset to ensure precision in all estimates and documentation. Competitive Estimator salary ranging from $117,000 to $150,000, depending on experience. 15 days of paid time off (PTO) annually to support work-life balance.
