Job Description

Develop detailed cost estimates for building and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for estimates. Analyze project plans, materials, and labor requirements to determine overall project costs. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and trends. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather critical project information. Prepare and present cost breakdowns and proposals to stakeholders and clients. Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all estimating activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have :

• Experience in the construction industry, specifically in estimating roles.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project costs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• A proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy.
• A background in business services or related industries is a plus.
