Job description

A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Perform prior-authorizations and insurance verification

Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers via telephone and email

Verify patients' insurance coverage and handle inbound and outbound calls

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience with medical insurance, specifically in prior authorizations

Experience with Medicare / Medicaid program administration

Knowledge of insurance verification and claim adjudication or medical billing

Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, or CPT is a significant plus

No attendance issues are permitted
