Job Title : Interventional Radiology Tech
Location : Oakland, CA
Pay Rate : $3,689 / week. @ W2
Duration : 13 weeks
Schedule : Day 4X10hr
Required :Duties :
- Provides high quality care to patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular, vascular and related surgical procedures.
- Assists radiologist and cardiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic special procedures and maintains and operates equipment required to achieve the best possible radiographic diagnostic images.
- The IRT works in the scrub department, circulating or monitoring roles to assist the physician while they work through veins, arteries, organ, biopsies, etc.
Skills :
- Knowledge : Familiar with equipment and supplies used in the cardiovascular and special procedures areas.
- Familiar with supplies and equipment used during standard and specialized procedures.
- Demonstrates a very high level of radiographic accuracy and patient care while accomplishing the desired outcome of the procedure in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proficient with digital imaging and magnification techniques and fluoroscopy.
- ACLS - preferred
