Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a K-12 school in Kansas City, KS. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers an opportunity to support diverse learners through tailored instructional strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities include :

• Developing and implementing specialized lesson plans for students with disabilities
• Collaborating with general education staff, parents, and specialists to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Supporting social and emotional development alongside academic growth
