Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Olathe, KS. This role is ideal for educators passionate about supporting diverse learners and providing individualized instruction to students with special needs throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each students unique learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to support academic and social development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices in special education.
