Job Summary :

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager at the Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-International Dr. North is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, and driving business success.

This is a full-time, salaried management position within the hospitality and restaurant industry, located in Orlando, Florida.

Compensation & Benefits :

The compensation for this position includes a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operations of all departments within the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
  • Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction are consistently met and maintained.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Train and supervise staff members, providing ongoing development and performance coaching.
  • Monitor and manage budgets and expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue, identify new business opportunities, and maintain positive relationships with guests.
  • Manage guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety and security protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and new technology advancements to ensure the hotel remains competitive.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods.
