What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity, helping to deter potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior. Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and client policies. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or law enforcement as needed while representing Allied Universal. Support access control measures and assist with visitor management according to site protocols. Minimum Requirements : A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Willingness to work at locations with limited on site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
