Cost Accounting Manager

Responsible for managing certain day-to-day Cost Accounting tasks, including but not limited to :

• Daily production review, analysis, entry, and reconciliation (including investigating variances)
• Daily review of costing and inventory exception reports.
• Manage weekly and quarterly cycle counting procedures with adherence to company policies.
• Creating and distributing accounting reports as necessary.
• Updating / Maintaining BOM's for existing items.
• Complete period close (monthly) tasks, including analyzing data, writing journal entries, and accounting reports / scorecards.
• Assists in the other duties as directed by their supervisor as the incumbent builds on their experiences.
