Description : Total beds : 412.

Level III Trauma Center; Teaching Facility.

Common diagnoses / treatments include unknown fevers, cellulitis, DKA, pneumonia, COPD, flu, and diabetic ulcers.

Nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Charting is done using Cerner.

Scrub color is navy blue.

Areas of float support include orthopedics, comprehensive medical unit, med-surg neuro, and accountability care unit.

Special procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsies, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vacs.
