As a Dispatch Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include managing communications, supporting patrol teams, and responding to incidents as they arise. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate vehicles as part of your duties. What You'll Do : Monitor and coordinate communication between teams, visitors, and emergency services within the location using radios, phones, and other dispatch tools. Document all incidents and calls for service accurately in dispatch logs, maintaining up-to-date records for the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying essential information to security-related personnel and management. Follow site-specific protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments, including emergency response procedures and communication practices. Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and relaying information to clients, employees, and visitors as needed. Assist with the deployment of security-related personnel during incidents or routine operations by tracking their locations and status. Support Allied Universal's security-related procedures and site policies as outlined for the location. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
