Pay Information

$500 to $530 per hour

About The Position

Interventional Radiology Locums Physician, Kentucky - No Weekday Call

Weekend-only IR assignment in Kentucky with routine cases, fast start, and no weekday responsibilities.

Highlights

  • Weekend blocks only; Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am
  • No weekday call or clinic coverage
  • 30-45 day credentialing

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient-based facility
  • Solo provider model with 1-2 APPs for support
  • Volume : 4-8 IR procedures per day per MD

    • Schedule

  • Weekends only; Friday evening through Monday morning
  • Additional weekends available
  • No weekday coverage required

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Core : drain placements, biopsies, steroid injections
  • Required : mediport / HD caths, angio for GI bleeds, embolization, CT / US-guided biopsies
  • Optional : ablations, tunneled lines, neph / gallbladder tubes

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Kentucky license or Open to IMLC Physicians
  • DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
  • Onsite hospital-owned hotel with meals and snacks included
