Medical Assistant Back Office - Dallas Float

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team, providing essential back-office support in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The role involves working Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with the responsibility of ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. Will get paid for .70 per a mile.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.

Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.

Prepare and stock exam / treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.

Assist physicians with exams and procedures by standing and taking notes.

Maintain all exam / treatment room disinfection protocols.

Answer patient telephone calls for referral to physician, nurse, or pharmacist.

Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN.

Inform physicians of patient reschedules and no-shows.

Perform other administrative duties, such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception, as requested by the supervisor or physician.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
