This is a unique opportunity to join a fast‑growing, high‑visibility team within the largest company in the world. Walmart Connect is looking for a Partner Development Incubation Team Lead to drive strategy, growth, and adoption of our Advertising API offerings at scale. The Team Lead will manage a team of Partner Development Managers focused on accelerating growth of our high potential SMB partners. These Partner Development Managers (PDMs) work on various phases of the early partner engagement lifecycle from prospecting and onboarding to fundamental growth drivers once live with the goal of amplifying revenue and driving new business. This role will help drive strategy and initiatives to enable PDMs to accelerate growth within this Incubation segment. As a manager, they will be responsible for helping to unblock their team as well as to help their associates grow and develop professionally. They will work cross‑functionally to identify products and opportunities and acquire net‑new customers through scalable, efficient touch points via our Technology Provider Partner program.
What you’ll do
- Own and accelerate partner segment growth, developing partner segment strategy and approach using scalable initiatives as the foundation.
- Drive segment goal setting and track partner progress to goals.
- Understand the evolving technical provider and digital marketing landscape to develop strategy, streamline technical support, and educate XFN teams on key focus areas and opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, sales, operations and other XFN teams to share partner segment needs and feedback to drive product and program prioritization and enhancements that will drive incremental revenue for Walmart.
- Lead strategic initiatives end to end, inclusive of planning, execution, and measuring results.
- Guide associates on JBP management, partner growth levers, and key partner support needs.
- Support API partner growth by joining key external meetings, top‑to‑top initiatives, and helping to resolve escalations.
- Enable WMC sales teams with content, training, and accelerators on specific Partner segment solutions that can help accelerate initiatives and / or expand opportunities.
- Identify, own, and drive innovative opportunities and programs to drive efficiencies and scale internally and externally.
- Facilitate associate personal and professional development through proactive, empathetic management skills.
- Develop tech provider segment business infrastructure and reporting initiatives.
Qualifications
5+ years of strategic business development or partnerships experience with a strong track record of managing relationships and leading cross‑functional initiatives.Proven success delivering strategic partnership programs in advertising, retail, or eCommerce, with emphasis on automated or digital advertising solutions.Experience managing teams or mentoring talent required.Demonstrated ability to advise C‑suite clients and manage partner relationships at scale.Strong operational leadership with a history of driving programs that improve efficiency and execution.Analytical mindset with experience diagnosing problems, developing data‑backed solutions, and measuring outcomes.Skilled at building trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders, especially sales, pre‑sales, and product teams.Experience identifying innovative solutions that drive customer and business impact.Interest or experience in complex technical partnerships, APIs, and product integrations.Bachelor’s degree required.Preferred Qualifications
8–10+ years of strategic business development or partnerships experience with a strong track record of managing relationships and leading cross‑functional initiatives.Master’s degree in business, marketing, communication, digital media / advertising or related area and 3+ years’ experience in campaign management, business development, market development, or related area.Leading cross‑functional teams.5 years’ experience in account management, channel / partner sales, digital media.Experience with CRM.Compensation
Hoboken, New Jersey : Annual salary range $108,000.00 – $216,000.00.
San Bruno, California : Annual salary range $117,000.00 – $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, stock, and other benefits.
