Rate : $24.50 $27.56 / hour + Full Benefits

Shift Info : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM | 8-Hour Days

Weekend Requirements : None

On-Call Requirements : None

Sign-On Bonus : $6,000

Position Summary :

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Rehabilitation / Skilled Nursing setting works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement prescribed therapy interventions. The PTA is responsible for providing therapeutic exercises and modalities in alignment with each patient's care plan and medical needs. This role requires a strong understanding of professional limitations, clinical documentation, and patient engagement across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Apply therapeutic modalities and monitor patient response.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily treatment notes and discharge summaries.

Support the cleanliness and organization of the therapy department.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.

Participate in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Requirements :

Oklahoma State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant Required

(Or a valid temporary permit with supervision, pending licensure)

BLS Certification Required
