About the Role

Monks is seeking a visionary Creative AI Technologist to join our specialized team. We manage a complex product account requiring expertise far beyond typical social media marketing. This is a hybrid role demanding both technical proficiency and creative strategy.

You will be the bridge between cutting‑edge AI developments and engaging social content. Your focus will be on anticipating the future of LLM’s by exploring the current AI landscape, utilizing APIs, coding knowledge to experiment and prototype. Your work will not only keep our social channels ahead of the curve but will also educate our internal teams and our external audience of AI enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

  • Technical foresight & landscape analysis; actively monitor developments from Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic to anticipate upcoming AI features.
  • Advanced content creation & prototyping; create compelling social content for X and Instagram targeted at AI enthusiasts; design and execute complex prompts, utilize APIs to prototype internal tools, test new capabilities, and produce unique images, videos, and copy.
  • Internal training & enablement; serve as the go‑to AI expert, bridging the knowledge gap within the organization; develop and lead training sessions for creative, strategy, and design teams on new and upcoming AI features.
  • Playbook development & documentation; document internal use cases and build comprehensive playbooks on how to integrate AI tools (including the Google Workspace) effectively across the company's strategy, creative, and operations departments.
  • Education & demystification; be a key part of our strategy to demystify AI; for external content, break down the prompts and the technical details (including API usage when relevant) in an engaging, easy‑to‑understand way.
  • Client‑facing engagement; collaborate directly with clients to problem‑solve and educate them on efficient prompting techniques, ensuring they can maximize the utility of AI tools.

Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency (required) : Proven experience in coding and working with AI / ML APIs; comfortable exploring technical documentation and building or testing tools.
  • A master of prompts & AI ecosystems : Proven ability to get extraordinary results from generative AI tools; in the weeds with current LLMs.
  • A natural trainer and explainer : Excellent at translating complex, technical concepts into simple, engaging language; passion for training others and documenting processes.
  • Social savviness (niche expertise) : Deep understanding of what resonates with the AI enthusiast community on platforms like X; ability to advise copywriters on relevant technical trends.
  • A creative problem‑solver : Enjoy solving problems using new technology, including APIs, to build internal tools and optimize workflows.
