Position Summary
This role will grow Used Parts inventory through collaboration between our customers, our shops, and our sales teams. The primary purpose of this role is to grow the used parts business (used parts and attachments) within the territory of the MFC. This role includes direct customer sales, high level collaboration between our sales and service departments, marking initiatives to build brand awareness, and training our customer, both internal and external, on how to source used parts and attachments.
Position Duties / Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities :
Account Development & Visits
- Visit key accounts in collaboration with Sales Reps to foster stronger relationships and drive growth opportunities.
- Provide on-site support and training to customers as needed to ensure effective use of attachments and parts.
Collaboration with Sales and PSSR Teams
Work closely with Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR) and Sales Representatives to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Company's full product offerings in the used / attachments areas.Ensure all sales teams are aligned with product knowledge and marketing strategies for Used Parts.Build & Foster Relationships with Service Departments
Collaborate with internal service areas to create seamless communication between departments and ensure the smooth introduction of used attachments to customers.Educate service teams on the full range of available used parts to maximize opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.Drive Growth in New and Aftermarket Used Attachments
Develop and execute strategies to grow the market for both new and aftermarket-used attachments, focusing on increasing market share in our territories.Marketing & Promotion of Used Parts
Lead the marketing initiatives for used parts in Michigan and Indiana, leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels to increase product visibility and drive sales.Stay updated on industry trends and customers' needs to refine marketing strategies.Strengthening Vendor Relationships
Maintain and build relationships with vendors in the aftermarket sector to ensure competitive pricing, product availability, and the timely delivery of parts.Negotiate with suppliers to maintain favorable terms for the Company and customers.Customer Service Excellence
Maintain excellent customer service and communication with all customers to ensure their satisfaction with both new and used partsAddress customer inquiries and resolve any issues.Product Education
Educate all necessary internal stakeholders (sales teams, service departments, PSSRs) on the full range of available used parts and attachments, ensuring alignment and a strong understanding of all product offerings.Supervisory Responsibilities :

Required :
High School Diploma or GED10 years or more experience with Caterpillar equipment, parts and / or service5 years sales experiencePreferred :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, market, communication or mechanical / electrical curribulum4 years or more of experience in salesKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities
