Pay : Up to 200k for a very seasoned candidate

Position Overview :
We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager who thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and enjoys advising clients in the construction and related industries. This is a key leadership position with the opportunity to work directly alongside partners, lead engagements, and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and review preparation of complex tax returns for partnerships, S-corps, and closely held entities.
Provide proactive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients, particularly in the construction and real estate industries.
Manage multiple engagements with an emphasis on quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Supervise, train, and develop staff accountants and seniors.
Stay current with federal and state tax regulations and advise clients accordingly.
Partner with firm leadership on process improvement and client growth initiatives.
Requirements
Active CPA license required.
Minimum 5–8 years of public accounting experience (construction industry experience highly preferred).
Currently working at a CPA firm or has recent, relevant public accounting experience suitable for re-entry.
Demonstrated stability in career history (limited job movement preferred).
Strong technical proficiency in partnership and pass-through entity taxation; CCH software experience a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Requirements
Active CPA license required. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in assurance / audit. Currently working at a CPA firm or has significant recent public accounting experience enabling a smooth transition back. Construction industry experience is strongly preferred. Stable work history and demonstrated commitment to quality and integrity. Experience with CCH software preferred.
