Job descriptionGreet and assist employees, visitors, and / or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence. Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and / or emergencies. Support security-related procedures such as issuing visitor badges and providing directions or information as needed. Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity through attentive observation and adherence to site policies. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all security-related documentation and materials are properly managed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control systems and / or badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
