Description : Job Summary :

Nimey Auto Group, New Generation Cars in Utica, NY is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician. As an A-tech, the ideal candidate is a master-level technician responsible for performing complex diagnostics, major repairs, and advanced system troubleshooting. We are looking for a technical leader in the shop to help set the standard for quality and efficiency. The A-Tech will also play a key role in mentoring junior technicians and supporting shop operations.

What You’ll Do :

• Perform advanced diagnostics on engine performance, electrical systems, and drivability concerns
• Repair or replace major components such as transmissions, engines, differentials, and hybrid / EV systems
• Lead or assist in the most complex repairs and diagnostic procedures in the shop
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and customer communication
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology, recalls, TSBs, and manufacturer updates
• Provide mentorship and training to B-Techs and C-Techs
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and repair standards
