Industry Principal V
SUMMARY
Industry Principals serve as faces of RealPage, industry veterans who bring deep fluency and credibility in both the rental housing business and RealPage solutions.
IPs work closely with Sales, Product and Marketing as subject matter experts representing RealPage externally and helping guide strategy internally. #LI-AK1
This IP position is specifically responsible for bringing deep expertise of Insurance solutions, deposit alternatives and other related offerings.
This is not a direct sales role, but a subject matter expert who brings extensive experience and credibility in multifamily operations and / or asset management.
An IP leverages that experience to represent RealPage as a thought leader in sales opportunities and product planning, as well as through webcasts and blogs and other venues as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in sales opportunities as a subject matter expert to demonstrate RealPage solutions and bring fluency into how our customers leverage RealPage solutions to optimize performance.
- Review sales proposals and / or agreements related to insurance solutions.
- Build and deliver sales certification courses and ongoing sales training.
- Build and deliver win / loss analysis to help inform product, marketing and sales strategy to best serve our industry.
- Represent RealPage as a thought leader and subject matter expert via multiple channels, including webcasts, blogs, white papers, conferences, and other venues as needed.
- Track and report on industry trends related to insurance opportunities and innovations, competitive offerings and customer feedback.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in the rental housing industry
- Must carry active relevant insurance licenses
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong command of writing fundamentals and an ability to write blogs and case studies
- Strong presentation skills and an ability to succinctly and fluently present complex ideas in an easy to understand way, and an ability to present via in-person meetings, web meetings, and webcasts or videos
