Job Summary
As a Parts Runner with RAWSO, you will pick up and deliver parts for heavy equipment and some project materials for our job sites in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our mass excavation, utility, paving, and concrete projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Order, pick up and deliver heavy equipment parts and lubricants to our various job sites from our parts suppliers.
- Pick up and deliver various materials to our job sites.
- Load / unload material.
- Chain / strap down materials safely.
- Follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Communicate with the team on the job site.
- Cooperate with others in a team environment.
- Accept direction from supervisors.
- Ability to manage time independently
- Work in inclement weather; Lift, push, pull in excess of 50 lbs.; Exposure to loud noise, dust and toxic materials.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years of experience as a parts runner for heavy equipment preferred.
- Mechanic experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and Class B CDL.
- Ability to connect, disconnect, pull and maneuver various types of trailers.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and their uses.
- A team player who works well with others.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.
- Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
- Travel will be required throughout, but not limited to, greater Middle Tennessee.
If offered the position, your driving record will be pulled and must be cleared before starting due to the nature of the daily responsibilities of this job.
