Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field ; advanced degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in business data, sales analytics, or related fields. Proficiency in SQL, coding, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel (macros required) . Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior leadership and large sales teams. A natural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects without becoming overwhelmed. Comfortable being both analytical and customer-facing , balancing data detail with storytelling impact.
Our client in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Sales Analyst to support their growing sales organization. This forward-facing role partners directly with the sales team and leadership, providing data-driven insights, reporting, and presentations that shape strategy and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain advanced reporting tools in Power BI, SQL, and Tableau to analyze sales data, forecast performance, and track key KPIs.
- Create engaging, executive-level PowerPoint presentations for quarterly business reviews, leadership meetings, and twice-yearly sales team presentations.
- Develop and automate reporting in Excel (including macros) to streamline processes and eliminate redundant work.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to set objectives, monitor progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Teach and enable sales team members to interpret and use reports effectively—supporting while also building self-sufficiency.
- Provide insights on business trends, distributor performance, and forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
