Fabrication / Sandblaster Worker Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
Sandblasting to remove paint, rust and other material build ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials.
Set up and operate a blast booth and similar equipment
Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise
Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up
Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment
Load and unload the blast cabinet
Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components
Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency

Day Shift, 07 : 00 am to 03 : 30 pm
Monday - Friday
Fabrication / Sandblaster Worker Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Previous experience required. This is not entry level or able to train on the job
MUST have experience doing sandblasting for minimum of one year in production enviroment.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Able to read measurements
Well-organized and history of showing initiative
Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations
Familiarity with power tools
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
