Overview

Role : Senior IT Telecommunication Engineer

Summary

This position requires the ability to perform all Associate and Journey level work independently. The role provides leadership among engineers, demonstrating a high level of technical knowledge and excellent written / verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creating of the construction package.
• Leading engineering teams on large, complex telecommunications projects.
• Designing, engineering, and approving robust, secure, and reliable telecom networks to support critical utility infrastructure.
• Managing or assisting with client and stakeholder communications and meetings.
• Reviewing and approving designs and estimates for compliance with all applicable standards, regulations (including NERC CIP), and best practices.
• Preparing technical studies, alternatives analyses, and making long-term recommendations.
• Working closely with other engineers to ensure consistent, high-quality engineering product delivery.

This role must ensure decisions consider long-term impact as well as short-term results and will provide final approval of designs and estimates prior to issuance.
