Role Summary
The Sr. Solutions Architect is a key SME role in transforming and redefining technology strategy leveraging modern and cutting-edge technology solutions. This role will d evelop, communicate, and implement Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Solution Architecture (SA) principles, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. EA will also be accountable for creating and promoting the Enterprise Architecture process, outcomes and results. They will work closely with App Dev, Infrastructure, Business, Info Sec technologists, architects, tech leads and product owners to deliver architectural design across the software development lifecycle. They will articulate and lead design discussions in alignment with NAR’s IT strategy in delivering a robust technology roadmap. The role must have experience in developing and leading technology strategy through the lens of architecture and must have demonstrated expertise in developing executive / senior management presentations. Must have strong written and oral communication skills with native proficiency in the English language.

Role Responsibilities
Main responsibility – Technology architecture – design, review, develop design
- Design, define and publish solutions architecture for IT initiatives.
- Review every project, RFI and strategic initiative for architectural impact, define current state, interim state and future state functional architecture.
- Actively collaborate with a wide range of Technology teams to on-board them to architectural vision, develop end-state technical, functional and logical architecture.
- Develop Conceptual Architecture, Solution segmentation and Design, Interface specifications, business context diagrams and lead joint architectural design sessions.
- Lead and participate Architectural review board processes.
- Serve as an architectural advocate for modern technology and develop “art-of-the-possible” for strategic initiatives.
Strategic planning
Understanding, advocating and supporting the IT strategyWork with each BU IT team to analyze their footprint, future fitness assessment, and present approaches to reduce technical debt, improve application healthPartner with Domain architects to define solution architecture and technical context diagrams in alignment to business / technology strategy, specific initiative functional and nonfunctional requirements.Develop multi-year roadmaps, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate this into tactical engineering blueprints.Create architectural modeling for consumption by technical & non-technical teams.Governance process and standards
Establish, lead, promote and communicate EA standard, guidelines and expected outcomes and results across all BU’s and IT teams.Work with Domain Architects from each BU to monitor adherence to EA standards, tooling and compliance.Establish Architectural review boards and EA design sessions across all BU’s.Establish a working relationship with global Enterprise Architecture teams, enable local team to be part of decision-making process for EA practices and process.Establish IPaaS tooling, API governance & strategy across all BU’s.Define and implement micro-services and integration strategyEstablish a detail plan and timelines to transform existing application stacks towards future architecture.Guide and mentor teams on developing REST APIs including tooling for documentation (swagger, REST-docs, openapi spec), versioning, service discovery / registration, testing and management.Establish a standard guidelines and approaches for cloud development and deployments - AWS / GCP cloud environments using industry standard tooling for containerization and orchestration.Work with Infrastructure and domain architects on Infrastructure capacity planning, growth projections, standardizing environments and for real-time monitoring.Experience
15+ years of Technology solutioning experience across various disciplines of Enterprise Architecture including Solution Architecture, Data and Information Architecture, Infrastructure and Information Security Architecture. Experience providing hands on design on large and complex enterprise applications, with demonstrated leadership experience in establishing and streamlining EA processes across the organization. Ability to lead cross-functional group of Tech Leads, domain architects, DevOps engineers across the SDLC lifecycle.10+ years industry experience in software, middleware, data and security architecture, design and implementation.10+ years of Experience with cloud computing services and infrastructure application development platforms and contemporary programming languages work, systems, or design10+ years of work experience in a leadership role with demonstrated ability in delivering executive presentations and successful track record in partnering with senior management.Education Required
