Responsibilities

• Be responsible for technical accounting assessment of all applicable matters
• Create, maintain and support our accounting conclusions
• Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s transactions and contracts with cross‑functional teams
• Ensure that the Controllership organization can operationalize accounting requirements
• Implement processes to ensure any changes in our contracts or transactions are assessed for proper application of US GAAP
• Stay current with changes in accounting standard and industry practices

Minimum Requirements

In‑office expectations

Office‑assigned Stripe employees in most locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. Expectation levels vary by role, team and location; they may range from 80% in certain sites to 100% in specific delivery center roles.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $161,600–$242,400. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions / bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
