Job Summary :
Berghoff Design Group is looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Pool Construction Superintendent to oversee the field operations of high-end residential pool builds. This role ensures that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled in scheduling, problem-solving, and leading field teams through every phase of constructionfrom excavation to final punch list.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise daily construction activities on multiple job sites
Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, inspections, and deliveries
Ensure compliance with engineering plans, safety regulations, permits, and building codes
Maintain job site documentation including schedules, photos, reports, and change orders
Communicate proactively with clients, project managers, and vendors to address needs and resolve issues
Perform regular quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards
Troubleshoot construction challenges and adapt plans to keep projects on track
Monitor project milestones and proactively adjust resources to meet deadlines
Mentor and train field crew members to promote safety, efficiency, and teamwork
Assist with budget monitoring, cost control, and procurement of construction materials
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in pool construction or general construction, with superintendent or supervisory responsibilities
Strong knowledge of pool systems, hydraulics, concrete, finishes, and plumbing / electrical integration
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, engineering designs, and permit requirements
Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proficient in construction scheduling tools and project management software
Valid driver's license required; contractor license or pool certifications preferred
OSHA certification a plus
Bilingual in both English and Spanish (required)
