Job Title : Automotive Repair Technician (Mobile)

Location : Seattle, WA

Travel : Extensive travel within the assigned geographic area will be expected.

Pay : $20-25 hourly + 15% commission.

The top 10% of Repair Technicians make $150k per year!

Summary :

Repair Technicians work remotely to diagnose and recommend repairs for collision-involved vehicles. They utilize OEM tools, diagnostic equipment, and online resources to effectively identify and rectify faults and errors in vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Essential Functions :

Use OEM tools and diagnostic equipment to recommend repairs across multiple vehicle makes and models.

Independently perform basic to advanced physical repairs on damaged vehicles.

Explain technical diagnoses and repair needs to non-mechanical individuals.

Stay updated on automotive technology through continuous learning and training sessions.

Coordinate with fellow technicians to execute diagnostic test plans and address repair issues.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Complete remote scans and diagnostics for various vehicle models.

Effectively communicate repair needs to customers, employees, and insurance clients.

Minimum Qualifications :

2-3 years of experience in a car dealership or aftermarket repair facility.

Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket scan tools.

Proficiency in identifying faults, error messages, and modules.

Strong mechanical and electrical diagnosis and repair skills.

Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.

Valid driver s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications :

Self-motivated with a customer-focused perspective.

Strong time management and communication skills.

In-depth understanding of the automotive industry.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.

Standing, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods may be required.

Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary.

Driving for pick-up and delivery may be required.
