Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is also responsible for tasks such as Sensor / Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Full-time Early Career Dev Sec Ops Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOPS Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in cloud computing, DevOPS practices, and a passion for automating administrative tasks using a wide range of technologies including Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Gitlab CI / CD pipelines.

This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications :

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance(Final Secret). This position is located at a facility that requires special access

BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.

Experience with Linux and / or Windows Server system administration

Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell or Ansible or other coding experience

Desired Skills :

A final Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Experience developing CI / CD pipelines with Gitlab

Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack or Nutanix

Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
