Front Of House Manager

Killington Caf & Wine Bar seeks a Front of House Manager to oversee daily guest-facing restaurant operations. The FOH Manager will greet and interact with guests, resolve service concerns, and ensure smooth floor operations throughout each shift. This position is responsible for creating weekly staff schedules, conducting pre-shift meetings, and supervising FOH team members, including servers and hosts. Additional responsibilities include :

• Managing FOH inventory (glassware, menus, supplies)
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new front-of-house staff
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas
• Coordinating with ownership and the General Manager on private events and large group reservations
• Using POS systems and handheld ordering devices to support service and reporting
• Supporting high standards of hospitality and overall guest satisfaction

Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience in hospitality management preferred.
