The Role
We're hiring our first Product Marketing Manager to help define our story, sharpen our GTM, and turn technical power into market clarity.
You'll partner directly with the founders, customers, and product team to shape how Promptfoo is positioned, discovered, and adopted across both developer and enterprise buyer personas.
What You'll Do
Positioning & Messaging (40%)
- Define and refine messaging for different personas : security teams, developers, AI leads, and compliance stakeholders
- Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value
- Build compelling product narratives, website copy, and pitch assets
Go-To-Market Execution (30%)
Launch new products and features with crisp, differentiated messagingSupport sales with battlecards, case studies, and customer-facing collateralHelp us define and evolve our ICPs and personasBrand & Awareness (20%)
Lead creative brand-building campaigns (e.g., events, partnerships, thought leadership, non-traditional plays like stunts or billboards)Work with founders on CEO / founder brand amplificationDrive analyst / influencer relationsGrowth Experiments & Demand Gen (10%)
Test paid and organic channels (LinkedIn, SEO, SEM, newsletter sponsorships, etc.)Set up lightweight measurement and reporting infrastructureCollaborate on funnel improvements and customer journeysWhat We're Looking For
Must-Haves
3-6+ years in B2B SaaS product marketingProven ability to market complex products to a technical audienceExperience working with both bottoms-up and top-down GTM motionsA strong strategic communicator with writing and storytelling skillsComfortable in fast-paced, zero-to-one environmentsAnalytical and structured thinker with a bias toward testing and iterationNice-to-Haves
