Job Description

Join a global bio-pharmaceutical company specializing in generic sterile injectable manufacturing as an Environmental Monitoring Analyst I. Be part of a team responsible for viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling. Utilize a proprietary LIMS for logging samples and adhere to cGMP documentation practices. Analysts will also process water, product, and commodity samples and perform bioburden testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling.

Log samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices.

Process water, product, and commodity samples.

Perform bioburden testing.

Assist Supervisors in training and integrating new hires into the pharmaceutical industry.

Act as an interim lead for the Supervisor as needed.

Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science field with 0-1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in environmental monitoring.

Associate's degree or high school diploma with 1-2 years of environmental monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience in gowning and sampling in an aseptic manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with GMP and environmental monitoring practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with LIMS and MODA sample tracking systems.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical lab setup and cGMP manufacturing.

Understanding of clean room practices and aseptic lab processing.

Familiarity with bioburden testing and aseptic sampling.

Work Environment

Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with 80% of the time spent in manufacturing areas and 20% in the lab. The role involves a day shift with a 2,2,3 rotating schedule from 7am-7pm. Training involves working with team trainers to become certified on routine portions of the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Greenville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
