Network Systems Analyst Onsite – St. Louis, MO (local candidates only)
Overview: This role focuses on the replacement, installation, and maintenance of network switches and routers across a large enterprise environment. The position involves hands-on work with network hardware, supporting a major upgrade project from legacy equipment to a modern switching platform.
Key Responsibilities: -
Install, replace, and configure network switches and routers in wiring closets and data centers.

Perform physical setup (rack, stack, and cabling) and configuration of networking gear.

Assist with large-scale hardware refreshes, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to change windows.

Support troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of network equipment and connectivity issues.

Collaborate with engineering teams to validate designs, document configurations, and refine operational procedures.

Provide feedback for continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and deployment standards.

Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance rotations as needed for cutovers or patching.

Manage tickets, communicate status updates, and follow ITSM best practices for incident, change, and service request management.
Qualifications: -
Experience with network switch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts (Layer 2/Layer 3).

Familiarity with Cisco or Extreme Networks hardware preferred.

Hands-on experience with common network management tools and utilities.

Understanding of foundational infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, certificates, etc.).

Relevant certifications (such as CCNA or equivalent) a strong plus.

Open to entry-level candidates or recent graduates with hands-on networking experience.
