Position Summary :
The Scheduler is a critical role on the Scheduling Team, responsible for building the work schedule for multiple providers to support the needs of patients and customers in support of Access Telecare's mission and business objectives.
With the support of software and data analytics, the Clinical Provisioning Coordinator is responsible for making real time schedule adjustments in a proactive manner while effectively communicating to providers, customers, and other internal stakeholders.
As part of the Scheduling Team, the Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with our clinicians while utilizing data analytics to understand and ensure that the right clinicians are scheduled to work at the right times.
Description of Duties / Essential Functions :
- Build and post clinician schedules, utilize predetermined availability to strategically maximize efficiency and meet / exceed target parameters
- Maintain schedules, including real-time schedule changes
- Assist with the formation of facility specific clinician panels as part of the implementation process, dependent upon existing & future State licensure / privileges
- Create summaries of coverage progress and remaining deficiencies to include compilation of capacity / coverage needs by service line, physician group, or other criteria
- Communicate effectively and proactively with clinicians and affected stakeholders to resolve capacity / coverage needs
- Manage shift changes (extensions, change in start / end time, trades, etc.)
- Compile reports from various data sources for affected stakeholders
- Data entry (to include entering / management of clinician availability / restrictions to support schedule build / management) and entering monthly scheduling data into the scheduling software
- Perform other duties and focused special projects as assigned
Education and / or Experience :
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing adequate preparation for the role
- Experience in managing complex schedules for multiple individuals is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Highly effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to keep composure under pressure adapt and adjust while balancing time sensitive requests
- High degree of competence and focus on customer service and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to regularly key deliverables / dates
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
Work Environment :
- High growth and fast paced organization
- Remote based environment, prefer candidates local to the Dallas Metro area with the willingness and ability to work in office occasionally for collaboration and meetings
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
